The work is being carried out from 7am to 7pm from the junction with City Way to the roundabout before it becomes Delce Road.

On-street parking will also be suspended and access to driveways will be hindered at times.

A council spokesperson said: “Resurfacing works are by their nature noisy and it would be expected that higher levels of noise will be experienced during the work.

“Every effort will be made to keep the disturbance and the site noise to a minimum.”
