Two bike riders who could have key information about the disappearance of teen soldier Josh Thomas have come forward.

Kent Police released a new CCTV image on Monday of the cyclists in Rochester on the night the 18-year-old went missing.

The two are said to be helping police with their inquiries.

Josh, a soldier at Brompton Barracks, was last seen by a friend outside the City Wall pub in Rochester on Wednesday, April 10.

Kent Police are growing increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of Josh, pictured.

More than 3,000 people have now "liked" a Facebook group helping in the search for the teenager.

It comes as Josh's family vowed not to give up home in the hunt for him.

Fighting back tears earlier this week, his 53-year-old father Gary said: "I can't put it into words how tough the last 14 days have been for myself and the family because it is totally out of character for him. He was doing so well and it's just tragic what's happened."

Mr Thomas said he spoke to Josh on the night he went missing.

He said: "He had just come off a sun bed and I spoke to him when he was in his room getting ready to go out and celebrate his exam results.

"He was ironing his kit for his first parade on the Wednesday morning."

But a lorry driver sought as part of the appeal has now come forward.

CCTV footage recently obtained showed a white lorry with the word "Sunlight" emblazoned across the side, which drove along Corporation Street just minutes after Josh was last spotted.
