He remains in a serious but stable condition, police said today as they renewed an appeal for information.

Two fire engines and paramedics were joined by the air ambulance service who attended in a land vehicle following the accident, which happened at around 5.30pm on Sunday, November 24.

The crash involved a Vauxhall Vectra.

The teenager, who was riding a blue Sinnis moped, was taken to a London hospital.

Officers are seeking dashcam footage from the time of the crash and are also asking for help to track down the driver of a car who was travelling in front of the Vauxhall Vectra at the time and turned onto Lordswood Lane prior to the collision.

Investigators believe the driver may have seen what happened and could have information to assist their investigation.

Anyone else travelling in the area who has dashcam footage that may show either vehicle travelling in the moments leading up to the incident is also urged to contact police on 01622 798538, quoting RY/FM/119/19, or email sciu.td@kent.pnn.police.uk
