CCTV released after teen girl sexually assaulted at Rochester railway station

Police are appealing for information after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted at a railway station.

Officers from British Transport Police (BTP) have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to after the incident at Rochester station on Sunday, July 10.

At around 10am, the victim, a teenage girl, was waiting on the platform before a man sat next to her and began make inappropriate comments before sexually assaulting her.

The individual police want to speak to was wearing a grey and black shorts and shirt and was carrying a blue carrier bag.

A BTP spokesman said: "Officers believe the man in the CCTV images may have information which could help their investigation."
