Teenager airlifted to hospital after being stabbed in Cliffe

A teenager was airlifted to hospital after being stabbed in a fight in Cliffe.

Police say they were called to a report of a fight involving two boys in View Road, Cliffe.

The incident happened at 6.19pm on Thursday July .

Ambulance crews were called to the Tesco Express in Bill Street Road, Frindsbury, where the injured boy, aged 17, had travelled on a moped with another boy aged 16.

The 17-year-old was treated at the scene before being airlifted to a London hospital, having sustained a stab wound to the back, but was discharged several hours later.

He was also arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on bail, pending further enquiries, until Friday July 30.

A 15-year-old from Rochester was arrested on suspicion of assault and later released on bail, pending further enquiries, until Thursday July 29.

The 16-year-old boy from Rochester, was also arrested and he has been released on bail until Friday July 30.
