Third suspect arrested after armed police called to fight in Solomon Road, Rainham

A third suspect has been arrested after armed police were called to a fight in Rainham.

Officers were called to reports of a group of people fighting in Solomon Road, just after 8pm on Friday.

They arrested a 52-year-old man from Rainham on suspicion of possessing an air weapon with intent to cause fear of violence, and a 21-year-old woman from Rainham on suspicion of assault.

The following day a 23-year-old man from Chatham was arrested on suspicion of assault following the incident.

All three have since been released from custody and bailed until Thursday July 25.

It is believed a teenager was left bloodied and bruised in the incident.

Police say an air weapon has also been seized.
