Police arrested a driver in Gillingham and seized his car after he failed a roadside drug test.

Officers stopped the VW Golf overnight after checks showed it was not insured.

In a tweet, Kent Police's Roads Policing Unit said: "On top of his six points and a hefty fine for not being insured he also failed a roadside drug test.

"Free night in custody for him and depending on blood results potentially a long driving ban."
