It is reported that the victim was approached from behind by a man and then assaulted and pulled to the floor.

She managed to run off but was left with injuries to her face and arm.

It happened at around 10.30pm on Tuesday, December 5.

Detective Inspector Nichole Carter, of the Medway victim-based crime team, hopes despite the blurred image someone may recognise the person from their clothing.

She added: “Investigators have been completing enquiries into this incident including the review of CCTV footage in the area.

“We are now able to release an image of a man who may be able to assist with our enquiries.

“Officers are also asking drivers with dashcams and residents with private CCTV, that has not already been reviewed by the police, to check for relevant footage.”

Anyone with information should call 01634 792209, quoting reference 46/215212/23.
