Woman trapped after car crash

A woman had to be cut from her car after being involved in a crash in Chatham.

The incident occured at about 11.30am yesterday (Monday, December 14) and fire crews from Medway and Strood helped to deal with the smash.

Cutting equipment had to be used and it is believed the woman, in her 40s, was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital although it is not thought she suffered any serious injuries.

The collision between a Vauxhall Corsa and another car occured at the roundabout beside the entrance to Chatham Maritime and the Medway universities in Dock Road.

The fire crews were at the scene for about 40 minutes.
