Medway Area Sunday League round-up (10/12/23)

Division 3 was the place to go for goals on Sunday in the Medway Area Sunday League!

There were 16 in the game between Pegasus 81 and New Brompton 1893 with the former winning 12-4.

Declan Fox and Swayze Whale both scored four times and there was a brace by Jack Watkins plus goals for Harry Barlow and Lewis Bridges. Brompton replied through Darren Everitt (2), Liam Dawes and Harry Montgomery.

Jack Clover (2), Reif Youdale (3), Tom Carter (2), Conor Simpson (2), Marcus Sutton, Chris Elliott and Darren Hawes were all on target in Athletic Bilbowls’ 12-1 victory over Cantium, whose consolation came from Stuart Shilling.

Eagles Gold hit six without reply against Cliffe Woods Rangers, Cain Sales (2), Grady O’Neil, Teddy Ward, Callum Smith and Toby Clout were their marksmen.

Jon Oliveira and his brother Tiago, Tomy Fuller and Joe Hayes all netted in Medway Rovers 20’s 4-1 victory over Medway United, for whom Ben Eastwood netted.

The Walnut Tree lost 2-0 to Bredhurst Juniors United, Tom Baker and Harry Hutson did the damage.

Premier Division Chatham Town SR had Caleb Dyce and Chris Yao to thank for their 2-0 victory over Cliffe Woods Colts.

Jamie Blackham and Samuel Shobande scored for Medway Invicta but they went down 9-2 to Quested after goals from Fjord Rogers (5), Frazer Rogers (2) and Sam Stace (2).

In Division 1, James Creber and a Scott Higgins penalty saw Springhead Park to the points in a 2-1 victory over Swallow Rise 93, who replied through Josh Wheeler.

Rochester shaded Medway Sport XI 3-2 with goals from Alfie Montague (2) and Timi Musuro outscoring Luke Fuller and Jack Hardy.

Division 2 Riverside Academy had Tashinga Musiza and Joshua Obafemi to thank for their 2-0 victory over ASK Medway.

Pentagon went down 5-3 at Bredhurst despite goals from Jack Thompson, a Bradley Killick penalty and Logan Currie.

Daniel Lee scored the lone strike in Omega 92’s 4-1 loss to Real 60.

In Division 4, Cross Park lost 5-2 to Rochester Eagles despite Eliza Pennant and Sean Turner finding the target. Eagles’ goals came from Callum Jeffreys, Rick McKee and a Tom Bicker hat-trick.

Nathan Swan (2), Jack Quarrington, Jai Seth and Nathan Gambrill all found the net in Kent Marina 19’s 5-1 victory against Bredhurst Juniors, whose lone strike came from John Wright.

Thomas Dalton scored a Palmerston Athletic consolation in their 12-1 loss to Tunbury Athletic, Ryan Cox (4), Adam Whiting, Luke Bonner, Darrell Lewis (2), Danny Stevens (2) and two own goals were all on the scoresheet.

Your Move Chatham and Milton & Fulston Zebras shared the points in a 3-3 draw, Saul Rivers, Aaron Cook and Jay Vincent scored for Your Move Chatham with James Whittaker, Seth Akrowg and Jay Rogers replying for the visitors.

The points were shared in Division 5 as Ben Hetterley for Wigmore Wanderers and Ryan Cripps for River netted in their 1-1 draw.

Reece Germano (4), Reece David-Bare and Luke Tutt led Caspian Tigers to a 6-0 triumph over Walderslade WMC.

Shay Rogers and James Hill scored for Hempstead Valley but they went down 4-2 to New Road Athletic – Jonjoe Langley scoring four times for the visitors.

Dan Rayment, James Hurcomb, Reece O’Connor (2), Liam Baker and Rob Lloyd all netted for Westfield Sole in their 6-1 win over Rochester Eagles Reserves.
