Brainboxes in the Maidstone area could be en-route to a dream location like Paris; all by taking part in the KM Big Charity Quiz.

The annual wine and wisdom evening – now celebrating its 11th birthday – is now open for booking, and one lucky participant will have the chance to win a pair of Eurostar tickets.

Everyone who secures their place at the Maidstone heat will be automatically entered into the Eurostar prize draw.

Booking is open now for the challenge event staged at Maidstone Leisure Centre on Friday, June 24. Teams of eight are required to take part and a generous £10 discount is available when booking your table online. Simply apply code MAID16 at www.kmbigquiz.co.uk to redeem your discount.

Teams taking part will enjoy a complimentary alcoholic or soft drink upon arrival, as well as a bottle of table wine and a large assortment of delicious treats.

Key partners Barclays Bank will be supplying their pound-for-pound matching service, doubling all money raised for charity on the night. Shepherd Neame will also supply a charity bar offering an assortment of refreshments for great prices.

Quizzers will also benefit from a selection of individual prize opportunities on the night including the Win in 10 Challenge, Heads or Tails, as well as a large charity raffle offering a wealth of gifts.

The top three teams at the Maidstone heat will be invited to take part in the Big Quiz County Final at the beginning of 2017, facing off rival quizzers from the Canterbury, Medway and Ashford rounds.
