The KM Colour Run, staged at Bettshanger Park, near Deal on Sunday, June 12 is now a total sell-out.

The annual challenge event is a total sell-out with adults, children and families from across the county taking part.

Key partners Countrystyle Recycling are keen to showcase their support for the charitable fun run which looks set to smash last year’s record.

Sonya Cragg, Head of Sales & Marketing at Countrystyle Recycling, said: “As a local business, Countrystyle is committed to aiding charitable organisations and fellow businesses in our community, and supporting the KM Colour Run is a really great way to achieve this as well as seeing everyone having lots of fun!”

The run is staged at Betteshanger Park, near Deal on Sunday, June 12. Participants can walk, run or jog the 5K route whilst being pelted with colour powder at the various colour stations throughout.

Runners are urged to gain sponsorship for their run and can either fundraise for their favourite charity, or one linked to the event such as the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance, and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Whilst the run might be sold out, members of the public are invited to come along and be Colour Bandits. For a £10 fee – which includes a limited edition t-shirt and sunglasses – you’ll be able to stand at one of our colour stations and pelt the runners with brightly coloured powder paint.

Dominic Comins, events manager at the KM Charity Team which organises the event, said: “We are so thrilled at the sell-out success of the KM Colour Run and we can’t wait until the event gets underway on Sunday. The aim is to “Start White, End Bright” so we are looking forward to seeing many colourful faces!”

The KM Colour Run is backed by key partners including Swanstaff Recruitment, Barclays, Gardner Croft Solicitors and Bettshanger Park.
