Dogs help war veterans

Dogs ranging in size from a great dane to a tiny four inch high jack russell-chihuahua cross took part in a fun dog show.

The event at Margate cricket club raised £220 for the services charity Combat Stress.

It was organised by Doris Ogle and Paula Martin and included an auction.

Combat Stress was founded in 1919, since when it has helped more than 85,000 veterans cope with their suffering.

Currently, there are more than 7,000 veterans being helped with many new referrals.
