A mother has posed for a raunchy calendar to raise money for wounded soldiers.

Kelly Croud, 30, of Rectory Road, Deal, joined others from around the country to help put together the calendar for the Help for Heroes campaign.

A chance meeting online with project leader Hollie Miller, who has several friends who have lost limbs while serving abroad, saw Kelly being asked to take part.

She said: “I met Hollie over the internet and she saw some of my pictures and asked me to take part. I was very happy to have been asked as it is a very worthy cause.

“The photo shoot took place in Surrey and we had a great time. The girls are a lot of fun. I have modelled before so I was not worried about being snapped in a bikini.”

Kelly, who is married to Matt, has two sons and works at Decor Discount on The Strand, Deal. Now she hopes to raise as much cash as possible for the charity.

“The 2009 calendar will be launched in September, hopefully in Brighton. We are hoping some major companies can stock it and help us raise as much money as possible.”
