A team of former Wrotham School pupils are preparing to set off on a 10,000 mile rally to the capital of Mongolia.

Perry Philip and Paul Whitcombe will drive this Suzuki Swift to Ulaanbaatar in the 10,000-mile Mongol Rally in July.

The pair, old school friends from Wrotham School, will be joined by former classmate Michael Webber on the journey which takes in Germany, Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan.

At the end of the rally - if they make it - the trio will have to put their car up for auction, with the funds going to the charity The Mercy Corps, which is helping nomads in Mongolia. They will be coming back by train on the TransSiberian Railway.

Team Swift, as the are friends are known, need sponsors and are offering advertising space on the car. For more details call Mr Philip on 07810 086084.
