A case of character building

WHILE news reports are suggesting East Londoners considering moving into the Thames Gateway find newly-built homes "monotonous" and "characterless", award-winning housebuilder Millwood Designer Homes has received planning permission for a development that will prove to be quite the opposite.

The company’s Edwin Place development is in Rainham.

Edwin Place will comprise just eight, four, five and seven- bedroom detached houses built in a range of styles including Millwood’s flagship Yeoman design based on Wealden farmhouses of the 15th and 16th centuries.

The specification will include fully fitted designer kitchens with top of the range appliances and stylish tiling from Porcelanosa.

The homes at Edwin Place are priced from £465,000.
