County report: An architect in the house

OPEN HOUSE: The Olve Tree in Deal
OPEN HOUSE: The Olve Tree in Deal

ARCHITECTURE Week is upon us and there are opportunities to explore many of the county’s finest buildings.

"To celebrate the 10th birthday of Architecture Week, we’ve brought together the biggest-ever programme of events, activities, workshops and tours across the South East," said event organiser Paul Grover.

This year’s theme is the power of 10 and there’s everything from 10-year-old buildings to a challenge to design and build a house for £10.

During Architecture Week, you can find out more about the built environment, and meet the people who play a part in creating it. Here are some of the highlights from across the county. For further information and other events taking place in your area, visit www.architectureweek.org.uk
