Permission given for new development

Planning permission has been granted by Maidstone Borough Council for the construction of Gillcrest Homes’ latest development.

The scheme, at Baileys Garage, Ashford Road, Harrietsham, will consist of 15 apartments and cottages designed to vernacular architectural style.

Martin Wood, development director at Gillcrest Homes, said: “We have been in negotiation with the local planning department for over nine months during the design of this development. The scheme was designed around the principle of high quality architecture complemented by the use of traditional, quality materials such as weather-boarding, flint sections and slate.”

Building will start in about three months. Contact Gillcrest Homes on 0845 130 0070 for more information.
