Wharf on show in the heart of town

GLEESON Homes has officially launched its Whitefriars Wharf development in Tonbridge with the opening of the show apartment and is already off to a flying start with the sales team being inundated with people arriving for the launch event with nine reservations being taken over the launch weekend.

“This development is in a prime location in Tonbridge just off the High Street opposite the River Medway on Wharfdale Road, so there is little surprise that it is already so popular,” says Ann Crick, sales manager. “With Waitrose and Iceland, plus the High Street almost on the doorstep, as well as Sainsbury’s and the train station all within walking distance, this centrally located development of two-bedroom apartments and townhouses is ideally located for families, couples and single people alike.”

Indeed, there are many different styles of apartment or townhouse here and with such variety there is something for everyone. While the development lies right in the heart of Tonbridge, its proximity to the river gives it a very tranquil setting, with picturesque views over the water.

Designed very much in keeping with the fashionable London wharf developments, the new apartments are modern, vibrant and light, with plenty of character. Features include large windows for plenty of natural daylight, fitted kitchens including an integrated Bosch oven, hob and hood in a brushed steel finish and down lighters for that modern look.

The two released apartments with their own private decking area have immediately been reserved.

Still available are those which include en suite facilities to the master bedroom, or an additional cloakroom as well as a main bathroom. There are plenty of options making these homes appealing to the investor market.

Rail commuters to London can be at London Bridge in just over 30 minutes or at Charing Cross in just over 40 minutes, while those travelling by car have close access to the A21, with the M25 not far beyond.
