The death is currently being treated as unexplained.

According to a nearby resident - who preferred not to be named - around the time the body was located by police, officers were stood guarding a flat for several days. He said he saw a forensics team arriving, which then returned the following day, and bags were taken out of a property.

He added the apartment has now been boarded up and he has not seen police return to the scene for around a week.

Anyone with information which may assist the investigation is asked to call 101, quoting reference 20-1019.
