Three arrested after fight outside McDonald's at Clacket Lane service station

A man has been taken to hospital with head injuries after a fight at a service station.

The row involving four men broke out in the car park outside McDonald's at Clacket Lane near the Kent border at around 3am.

The injured man, aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.

Three men were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. One remains in custody and two have been bailed until July 8.

Police are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Kerry Akehurst said: "Although this happened in the early hours of the morning we are sure that there were a number of people around.

"If you were travelling through and saw what happened, or know someone that might have stopped in at this services at this time, then please get in touch with us."
