Giant obstacle course Spartan Race coming to Sevenoaks

A top prize of £3000 is up for grabs for enduring an extremely tough obstacle course this spring.

With the first race weekend of the season at St Clere Estate in Sevenoaks, the Spartan Races can include a spear throw, inverted wall, monkey bars and barbed wire crawl.

There will be two difficulty levels at Sevenoaks- sprint and super. The sprint includes 20 obstacles over 5km and the super has 25 over 13km, for those who love bit more of a challenge.

All ages and abilities are welcome to the event on May 4 and 5, with special heats for 4-13 year-olds.

You can enter on your own or as a group, something half the racers opted to do last year.

Sevenoaks is one of the six race weekends planned across the country.

The winners of the two Sevenoaks' races will get £600 each, and the top man and woman in the country will both bag £3,000.
