Mike Conway was shunted out of a possible podium finish during race two of the GP2 series at the Hungaroring.

The Sevenoaks racer was battling for third along with Lucas di Grassi but the Brazilian put him in a spin and down the order.

Di Graasi was later handed a drive through penalty for his for his error but it did little to help Conway.

The 23-year-old eventually had to settle for 11th at the end of Sunday’s 28-lap race.

Saturday’s feature race in Budapest saw Conway finish in sixth. He now sits 10th in the overall standings.
