A250 Halfway Road, between Sheerness and Halfway, Sheppey to close for road works

A major road is to close for a week for resurfacing works.

Kent County Council (KCC) is to shut part of the A250 Halfway Road on Sheppey next month.

The road will be closed between Power Station Road and Danley Road – between Sheerness and Halfway.

Work is planned for September 6 until September 12 between the hours of 8pm and 5am.

A spokesman for KCC said: “The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while resurfacing works are undertaken.

“The alternative route for any through traffic is via A250 Queenborough Road, B2007 Main Road, A249 Brielle Way, A250 Bridge Road, Millenium Way, High Street and vice versa.”
