Man taken to hospital with serious head injury after collision with minibus in Minster

A man has been taken to hospital after being hit by a minibus in Minster.

Police say a silver Ford Transit minibus was involved in a collision with a pedestrian on Chequers Road, between the junctions of Boundary Close and Oak Lane.

The collision took place at around 1.30am today, and the pedestrian was taken to a London hospital with a serious head injury.

The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are investigating the incident and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
