Police appeal for witnesses after burglary from house on Marine Parade, Sheerness

Witnesses are being sought after a car, jewellery and cash were stolen from a home.

The burglary happened in Marine Parade, Sheerness, near Oasis Academy.

Numerous items of jewellery were stolen as well as a quantity of cash and alcohol. The victim’s silver Mercedes E220 was also stolen.

It happened between 5pm on December 28 and 10.50pm on December 29.

Investigating officer PC Hannah Cooper said: “After receiving the report we carried out a number of inquiries, including house to house inquiries and reviewing CCTV.

“I’d like to hear from anyone with information about the burglary, no matter what it is.

“You may have seen somebody acting suspiciously in the area or you may have seen the vehicle being driven in the area after it was stolen”.
