Man, 31, taken to hospital after collision between moped and Land Rover in Halfway Road

A moped rider was rushed to hospital following a collision with a Land Rover.

The accident happened in Halfway at the traffic lights on the junction of Minster Road and Halfway Road on Monday at 9.20pm.

Three ambulances and a car driven by a paramedic were sent to the scene.

Kent Police also attended to assist with traffic control as the road was partially blocked.

The 31-year-old casualty, who was fully conscious when the emergency services arrived, suffered pain in his neck, back and ankle, a shoulder injury and cuts and grazes.

He was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital, Gillingham, as a priority.

There were no arrests.
