There's still time to enter this year’s carnival on Saturday, June 27.

The event will definitely go ahead after it had to be cancelled last year due to policing charges but Kent Police has since abandoned charging for community events.

There will be events going on all day in Sittingbourne High Street, including children’s fairground rides and various stalls.

The carnival starts off in Attlee Way, Milton Regis at 5pm and heads towards North Street, Milton high Street, Crown Road, Chalkwell Road, London Road, West Street, high Street, East Street, Canterbury Road and Rectory Road.

For more information of for an entry form telephone Pam Griggs on 01795 475773.
