Image released of man in connection with newsagent robbery

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with an alleged robbery.

A man believed to have been armed with a craft knife demanded money from staff at The Newz and Viewz convenience store, in Quinton Road, Sittingbourne, on Sunday, June 8.

No one was injured in the incident.

The man was white, slim, aged between 20 and 30, and was about 6ft.

He has sandy-coloured hair and was wearing a dark zip-up top with white lettering on the front, grey trousers with stripes down the side and white trainers. He also wore a black baseball cap.

Kent Police are investigating whether the incident is linked to other crimes in the area.
