Live music and a host of stalls, games and performers helped make Greggstival a success.
The day-long programme in Lower Hartlip Road was in memory of Gregg Shoults who died in October 2012, aged 29, of an undiagnosed heart condition.
The family of the former Westlands’ student organised the show, now in its second year, to raise money for the charity, Cardiac at Risk in the Young (CRY).
Entertainment included five bands, a fairground, pony rides, a dog show, bungee running, and a rodeo bull.
Gregg’s sister, Fiona Shoults, said: “The day went really well, although it wasn’t as busy as last year because of the weather.
“We’ve had a lot of good feedback from people saying how much they enjoyed it.
“Hopefully, we’ll be back again next year but with better weather.”
Fiona said the family was on the way to achieving their fundraising target of £3,500 to enable 100 youngsters to be screened for heart defects.
