THREE people were arrested after police seized a large quantity of cannabis and cash during the search of a house in Kemsley, near Sittingbourne.

Two teenagers were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply following the execution of a warrant on Saturday afternoon. Both were bailed to Sittingbourne police station pending further enquiries.

A 20-year-old man, of no fixed home, was arrested on suspicion of handling a stolen watch. He has also been bailed pending further enquiries.

Sgt Darren Ryder, of the Sittingbourne Neighbourhood Team, said: “Drug dealing and illegal drug use will not be tolerated.

"These arrests are significant in our crackdown on the street level supply of drugs in Sittingbourne. We will maintain the pressure on anyone involved in the supply of drugs within our communities.

"I hope that our actions reassure people that will not hesitate in taking positive action to make Sittingbourne an even safer place to work, live and visit.”
