Anti-social behaviour targetted by new team

Three new faces have joined Thanet’s crime busting team in an effort to further reduce anti-social behaviour around the Isle.

The new community safety officers join the team led by Mark Richardson and have been given specific areas of responsibility.

Tiffany Hall is co-ordinating the crime reduction project in Marine Terrace, Margate, and is looking at initiatives which have been successful elsewhere.

Lacy Dixon takes charge of the local youth strategy, ensuring that local children have plenty of activities to keep them entertained.

Jessica Bailey is responsible for the graffiti strategy and is hoping to introduce a street art mural to deter youngsters from damaging property around Thanet.

Dee Neligan continues to co-ordinate the area’s domestic abuse service.
