A boy was injured after a crash between an electric scooter and a car.

Police and paramedics were called to Ramsgate High Street just after 6pm yesterday following reports of an accident.

South East Coast Ambulance Service medics treated the youngster at the scene while the driver was conveyed to a nearby hospital, police said.

A police spokesman also said in a statement today a second crash occurred between two cars in the same spot shortly after the initial accident.
