More than 100 children will bring the magical story of Cinderella to life at Margate Winter Gardens this week.

Youngsters from Thanet Stage School of Performing Arts will be supported by older former students in the traditional pantomime that features beautiful music and spectacular costumes.

Cinderella is played by Paige Duggan who won the local Search for a Star talent contest and managed to get three call backs for television’s X-Factor. She has also appeared in summer season at the Winter Gardens, Margate. Paige is joined by Sam Wall as Prince Charming.

This show has been written and directed by Jeff Harwood, who is well-known throughout Thanet for his work in the theatre.

Professional lighting and projection adds to the spectacle and is being provided by John Port of Accolade Productions. John is the brother of Thanet Stage School principal Josephine Johnston and his impressive track record includes major stage productions and working for the Disney corporation.

The show is staged from Wednesday, February 23, and Saturday, February 26, at 7.30 pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.30 pm. More information and tickets from the box office on 0845 3899938 or 01843 296111.
