Royal Sands luxury apartments in Ramsgate prices revealed

Developers are offering a sneak peek inside a hotly-anticipated luxury apartment complex on the site of a former fairground.

The Royal Sands scheme is being constructed by Blueberry Homes on the Ramsgate seafront site, where the old Pleasurama sat desolate for 22 years.

The ambitious project - comprising 107 luxury apartments, a 60-bed hotel and leisure facilities, including shops and food outlets - was approved 15 years ago

But during years of inaction and ownership issues, the site remained derelict and neglected.

That was until Blueberry Homes took over the former funfair site, where work on the first phase finally began in June.

The firm hopes Royal Sands' first 26 flats, called Sea View and Water's Edge, will be ready for owners to move into by next summer.

It is aiming to complete the whole site within the next three years.

The flats are now able to buy online, with prices starting at £275,000 for a one-bed flat, and ranging up to £750,000 for certain two and three-bed apartments.

An animated virtual tour has now been launched on the development's website, showing how a standard two-bedroom apartment on the swanky site might look.

The walk-through shows floor-to-ceiling windows in the open-plan kitchen and living area, opening out to a balcony with breathtaking ocean views.

The flat appears airy, with plenty of natural light filling the rooms.

Both the master bedroom and second double-bedroom also open out to balconies, which feature space for seating.

A spokesman for Blueberry Homes previously told KentOnline: "It's going to be stunning.

"The apartments will have uninterrupted sea views. People are already interested and getting in touch - we've had over 100 enquiries."

They added that the apartments are likely to gauge interest from people from London as well as locals.

"People from London and urban areas of Kent will be seeing this resurgence of seaside towns," they said.

"And especially at the moment, they'll be looking for that clean air by the beach."
