Crash in Tothill Street, Minster, sees man cut from car

A man had to be cut from a vehicle after a rush-hour crash.

Emergency services, including three fire engines, flocked to the scene in Tothill Street, Minster at 9.25am today.

Traffic information site Inrix reported that a car ended up on its roof after the two-vehicle collision.

The route remained shut for just under two hours for police, paramedics and firefighters, who cut the man free.

He was then passed into the car of paramedics.

It is believed there have been no serious injuries.

A police spokesman said: “We were called to a report of a two-vehicle collision in Tothill Street, Minster at 9.25am today.

“Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service and assisted with traffic management.

“The road was blocked while the incident was responded to but reopened shortly after 11am.”
