THE Red Arrows will be making a beeline to Thanet for the Isle’s own air show in the summer.

The show, on the weekend of June 17 and 18, will be one of the first performances of the RAF team’s 2006 season.

As with last year, the best views on Palm Bay clifftop are ticket only, with holders getting to hear commentary on the display, some of it from the team leader’s cockpit.

Attractions lined up for the show already include fast jets, Second World War aircraft, parachute displays, aerobatics and ground activities.

Tickets are £7.50 in advance and £10 on the day, with seven to 16-year-olds getting in for £3 in advance and £4 on the day. Under-sevens go free.

* Tickets are available from the Winter Gardens box office on 01843 292795/296111.
