Trio charged after ‘knives and crowbar brandished in Margate High Street fight’

A fight which erupted on a high street where knives and a crowbar were reportedly brandished has led to three men facing charges.

Police were called to the scenes in Margate when the fracas is said to have broken out between a group, during which a knife is said to have been seen.

The incident took place shortly before 9.30pm on Sunday 17 December where two arrests were made after officers stopped a van nearby.

Officers took a third suspect into custody in Margate the following day and now all three have been charged.

Jamie Tusting, 32, of High Level Drive, Sydenham, south London, and Jason Tusting, 36, of Roman Road, Ramsgate have both been charged with violent disorder and possession of a bladed article.

Jack Tusting, 27, also of High Level Drive, Sydenham, south London, has been charged with violent disorder and possession of a crowbar.

The three men are due to appear before Folkestone Magistrates' Court today (December 19). .
