Hanna Bradbeer: down and out but not dishearted after X Factor disappointment

Singer Hannah Bradbeer has been booted off the X Factor talent show.

Viewers of the ITV show on Sunday night saw Hannah, 23 from Tonbridge, told by judge Cheryl Cole that she had not made it through to the live singing shows.

Hannah was in Cannes when she learned should would not be one of the three girls in the 14-24 female category to go through to the next round.

Hannah, who was competing against five other girls, sang a rendition of Janice Joplin’s Take Another Little Piece of My Heart for Cheryl and her Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberly Walsh.

But it wasn’t enough for Cheryl, who told Hannah simply: “I’m so sorry Hannah, I have to let you go home. I’m so sorry”.

But Hannah is keeping her head up and hopes the exposure from the show will lead her onto bigger and better things.

She said: “I’m really dissapointed. I loved my experience on the show but I do realise it’s not the only to get your goal. There are many ways to get to where I need to be, a record deal, an agent and management. Hopefully it’s given me the publicity I need."
