Teenager punched and robbed

A teenager was punched by two robbers who stole his wallet, mobile phone and driving licence.

The incident happened early on Saturday morning as the 18-year-old victim was walking inn Shipbourne Road, Tonbridge, from the town centre.

Just before the Darenth Avenue junction, he noticed another man, wearing dark-coloured clothes, walking beside him who asked for his wallet.

When the teenager refused to hand it over, the man, whose face was covered with a scarf or balaclava, punched his victim’s face. A second person also punched him, knocking him over.

When the teenager came to, he realised his possessions had been taken. He received hospital treatment for a head injury.
