Tonbridge boss Jay Saunders has made two more signings - including a midfielder from Southend.
Lewis Gard, 22, has played League 1 and League 2 football for the Shrimpers and made five appearances in the National League in the 2021-22 season.
He was part of boss Kevin Maher's plans at Roots Hall but has opted for regular football at Longmead under Saunders, leaving the club he joined as an eight-year-old.
"Lewis is a creative central midfielder who enjoys going box-to-box," said Saunders, of his new recruit, who made his Southend debut in a 3-0 League 1 win at Oldham four years ago.
"He will be a fantastic addition to the Angels engine room and I'm delighted to have got this one over the line."
Tonbridge have also moved for winger Mason Saunders-Henry, who arrives from National South rivals Welling.
The 22-year-old, who operates on either flank or as a No.10, previously played for Saunders during a loan spell at Margate.
"'I'm very pleased to have obtained Mason's signature," said the Angels boss.
"He is an exciting player who enjoys getting on the front foot and making things happen and I believe there is more to come from him."
