The family of an alleged murder victim have paid tribute after he was killed in a residential street.
Gordon Farnes, 43, died at an address in Sherwood Road in Tunbridge Wells on Tuesday after sustaining serious injuries.
In a statement the family said: "We tragically lost an important member of our family who was loved dearly.
"Gordon Farnes was a loving, loyal, caring family person. Unfortunately he has been taken from us but will never be forgotten.
"He will always live on and be in our hearts."
A 28-year-year man, Gordon Locke, appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court yesterday charged with murder.
