Hospital visitor has wallet snatched

A MAN visiting his wife at a Kent hospital had his wallet stolen while he was trying to help another man who said he was a taxi driver.

The 58-year-old victim was in the car park of the Kent and Sussex Hospital at Tunbridge Wells when the incident happened on Sunday lunchtime.

A man claiming to be a taxi driver asked him for help as he needed some change but, while the victim was searching in his wallet, another man snatched it out of his hand.

The man who took the wallet is described as white, aged about 50 and around 5ft 7in tall. He was wearing jeans and a denim jacket.

The other man was around 45-years-old and slightly taller. He was wearing similar clothing.
