Lorry strikes railway bridge on the A26 Eridge Road, Tunbridge Wells

A road has reopened after a lorry hit a railway bridge in Tunbridge Wells.

It happened on the A26 Eridge Road between Broadwater Lane to Summervale Road at around 2pm.

The road was closed in both directions but has since reopened.

Nobody was injured but officers remain at the scene to control traffic while the lorry is recovered.
