Police investigating a robbery at the One Stop store in Rusthall last week are appealing for help

Police investigating a robbery at a newsagent in Rusthall, Tunbridge Wells are appealing for witnesses.

Just after 6am on Wednesday, October 8, officers were called to reports of a robbery at the One Stop store in the High Street, Rusthall.

Two men are said to have entered the store and threatened staff, before making off with cash.

No-one was harmed during the incident.

DC James Crouch from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate said: "From the enquiries we have made so far we have established that there were a number of people who were in the area at the time, including pedestrians and also bus that was passing at the time.

"It might be that one of these people saw something unusual; perhaps someone loitering and looking suspicious, or perhaps a vehicle that looked out of place. If anyone saw something that didn’t look right then we would like to hear from them. Their information could help us further our investigation and identify who has committed this crime."
