You're probably tired of waking up to socks, pants, a bit of aftershave and that jumper you'll never wear on Christmas morning.

Would you prefer a brand-new Aston Martin in your stocking? How about a free one?

Well...almost free anyway - you'll only have to fork out an initial £373,795, the cost of a top end home cinema system!

One Kent technology company is providing what it calls "the antidote to the credit crunch" by giving away a Vantage V8 (cheapest model priced at around £83,000 on the road) to every customer who buys their most expensive product.

Jamie Marshall, the owner of Tunbridge Wells-based Technophobe Ltd, admits the timing might not be perfect though, with people tightening their belts during the economic crisis.

The projector alone costs almost £91,000, there is £33,000 worth of cabling and even the remote control for the system would set you back a cool £1,105!

He said: "People won't be buying it in bulk, that's for sure! Obviously it's quite difficult as there is quite a bit of hardship around at the moment."

Mr Marshall says the offer has attracted quite a lot of attention from stunned shoppers curious about the prospect of a free sports car.

As yet, though, none have left the showroom!
