Tunbridge Wells Christmas lights compared to g-string

A town’s efforts to bring a bit of sparkle with its Christmas lights has been mocked on Twitter, with one man comparing them to a g-string.

The lights at the Royal Victoria Shopping Centre in Tunbridge Wells were switched on by X Factor winner Ben Haenow and Santa in front of a crowd of thousands earlier this month.

But one user for @StayGoMag has compared one set of lights, showing snowflakes and golden strips in the High Street, to the underwear.

The Twitter user said: “Is it just me or do the Tunbridge Wells Christmas lights look like g-strings?”
