Woman in death crash is named

A WOMAN who died after a head-on collision near Tunbridge Wells on Sunday, September 12, has been named as Kate Greenshields, 35, of Hedgebarton Park, Fordcombe.

Firefighters freed her from the wreckage of her blue Peugeot 206 following the crash which occurred on the A264 between Dornden Drive, Langton Green, and Tea Garden Lane, Rusthall, at about 5.40pm.

She was taken to the Kent and Sussex Hospital in Tunbridge Wells by ambulance but died from her injuries two days later.

The female driver of the other vehicle, and an eight-year-old boy passenger, were treated in hospital for minor injuries. Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
