Cranbrook: Three men charged with carrying out robbery in Hartley Road

Three men have been charged with carrying out a robbery in Cranbrook on Thursday.

Police were called just before 3am after thugs forced their way into the home in rural Hartley Road made violent threats towards the occupants. They made off with cash and a mobile phone.

Four men from the Ashford area were later arrested and three suspects have been charged and are due to appear before officials at Dover Magistrates' Court today (Saturday).

There are Antony Allen, 37, of Badlesmere Close; Sammy Kingwell, 31, of Adams Drive, Willesborough; Ricky White, 29, of Downsway, Charing.

A 46-year-old man from Ashford was also arrested, has been bailed pending further enquiries until 27 May.
