Suspected burglar from Canterbury charged after power tools stolen from Whitstable home

A suspected burglar has been charged after power tools were stolen from a home during a break-in.

Other items were also stolen during the raid of the property in Cornwallis Circle, Whitstable, on January 15.

Police launched an investigation into the incident, and have now confirmed Mark Scamp, from Canterbury, has been charged with burglary.

The 37-year-old, of Dickens Avenue, will appear before Folkestone Magistrates' Court today.
